For Wash & Fold Customers
One of the most common questions we get is about how we calculate weight. If you drop your laundry off with us, we take care of that for you — we weigh everything before it’s washed and folded so you know exactly what you’re being charged for.

For Pick-Up & Delivery Customers
Because everyone’s laundry habits are a little different, there’s no exact number that fits every household. However, we do see some consistent patterns. Most individuals with a typical week’s worth of laundry fall in the 15–20 pound range. Families tend to vary more — especially since children’s clothes are lighter — but a family of four usually ends up around 30–40 pounds per load.

If you’d like a quick estimate before scheduling, you can always toss your laundry basket on a bathroom scale to get a pretty close idea of the total weight.

When placing your order, you’re welcome to let us know exactly where we should pick up or drop off your laundry. Customers commonly choose spots like the front or back porch, behind a gate, under a covered patio to keep everything dry, or even inside an unlocked garage. Apartment residents sometimes coordinate with their building manager as well. As long as you give us permission, we’ll return your freshly cleaned items to the same location you selected.

Most customers choose a spot that keeps their items protected from the weather, such as a porch, garage, or right at the door. Just make sure to share your preferred pickup and delivery locations when you sign up so we can follow your instructions.
